WHAT IS THIS BOOK ABOUT?

The book explores the sources of Russian messianism and expansionism, forming the basis for the imperial ideology of the “Russian world”, which, being magnified in force, resulted in full-scale military aggression against the independent country of Ukraine. The book also tells about the historical sources of Ukrainian civilization and its competition with Muscovy (Russia) for the Ukrainian nation's natural and human intellectual resources. It defines and describes core components of ideology and practices of ‘ruscism’ as a worldview and contemporary social convention.
